Snow in Lytle Texas

So this evening well after dark we started getting snow here in Lytle. They got quite a bit more in San Antonio, but still, it is very cool.
Apparently in SA they got as much as 3 and 4 inches. We got a dusting here.
It will all be melted in the next few hours.
I am from the Chicago area, so this is no big deal, but still, it is so rare for snow to fall here it is worthwhile mentioning.

Exactly! We may get one or 2 small snows a year at most and they go away quickly.

Well, officially they got 1.9 inches at the airport. It is the first measurable snow in 32 years. I was here in 85, it was about 12 inches. Freak combination of weather patterns. It was melted in two days.
Here we had "maybe" half inch last night, based on what was on the car and truck this morning.
No drama there.
Lot's of snowmen being shown on the news, they are mostly kinda short snowmen.
It is all gone now.

Yes, the snow was widespread this time around, even if it was light.
And surprising, mostly in San Antonio and further south!
I could have hopped into the truck and followed it! Of course, that is hindsight.
