I am afraid that I will need to leave the Larrivee family of fine guitars unless I can find an OM with a narrower nut width. I have recently tried three OMs and at 71, can no longer accommodate the wider nut width and relatively flat fretboard. I have tried light and custom light strings and it just isn't working.
So, I am selling my recently acquired OM-03 with Lacewood (or GR, or silver oak) back and sides, and sitka top. This guitar is only a few months old and sounds wonderful...nice clear crisp tone with nice tight bass response. It has more opening up to do, obviously, but it sounds wonderful right now. I have polished it to a soft gloss, as I do with all my satin guitars. It looks wonderful. Standard flat top HSC, also in mint condition.

Too sweet to sell.  I’m going to try some softer strings and try to make peace with this cool guitar.

Good choice to keep it!

I was tempted greatly.
