I'm considering purchasing an OM-05 model. Any thoughts from Larrivee owners on this guitar! Any help appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!   welcome

You'll not find anyone around here to talk you out of it.  Great all purpose guitars.  If you can't find an 05 consider an O3.

(By the way, you posted in the wrong section, but I'm not the one to move it.  And... you might want to check the forum rules...   )

Agree with the previous post...I'd say just create a new post with your question in the main Larrivee forum - that's where discussion of Larrivee acoustics takes place. You'll get lots of feedback there (maybe after Thanksgiving, of course).

OM, perfect size. Five series, nice wood, trim and finish.

What Danny said.  I love the sound and feel of my OM-03.  I haven't played any OM-05s but I can't imagine them sounding that much different from mine, given they are more or less the same woods.

Thanks. I see one on eBay and I'm thinking about it.

I ordered the one in my signature new in '92 - it's now officially 25 years old! It sounds incredible, and plays perfectly - after 25 years there's nothing wrong with the neck, nut, saddle, etc. I've changed out the tuners for some open gear ones, and it's had the same undersaddle pickup in it for over 20 years.

It's my #1 Larrivee, and I suspect it always will be.
