Hi,
I am looking to sell my Larrivee om-09 to a friend.  It's 17 years old and in excellent condition.
Anyone have ideas about determining a fair price? It has a Seymour Duncan Magic Mic pickup installed.

Thanks!

If I were buying it, I'd not want the pickup in the soundhole, but that's personal preference. At the very least, I don't think the pickup adds to the value of the guitar.

An OM-09 in nice shape *should* sell for $1,200-1,500 USD. But in these depressed days of instrument sales, I'd say expect to get $1,000-1,200.

Check recent prices for completed sales on Reverb and e-bay to get a realistic picture of the guitar's current street value.

Thanks for the information!

I looked up the manufacture date on Larrivee's website and found the guitar is 17 years old, not 10 as I originally posted.  Does that change your estimates?

Not for me.  If it is in as good of condition as it appears...  If I were selling it on Reverb I would ask top dollar for it.  Since the economy has improved some since the first of the year I am getting pretty close to asking price on my sales, and sales are way up this year...
