Extraordinary build Steve.  Would love to hear your evaluation of using Silver Oak for the top when it gets finished...

What a special guitar.  Love your trips to Yarnell Place.  Thanks for sharing Steve.  I think we need a nice coffee table book with all your unique Larrivee guitars :-)

Headstock, fingerboard, bridge and binding are snakewood.

They have a good supply of bodies.  They are building them as time permits.

OK. Just as I am getting into electric guitar...  :whistling:

Nice!  I'm particularly intrigued by the snakewood components. I was not aware that it was being used much any more.  My violin bow (which is really old) is snakewood. It's a very hard and very dense wood.  Looking forward to seeing pics of the finished guitar.

I even sent a piece to Charis acoustics, and they made a set of snakewood tuner buttons for the Gotoh 510's that will be on the guitar.
This is my third guitar with a lot of snakewood.  I love that stuff.

Amazing looking guitar!  I can hardly wait to see how it turns out.  Is it going to be finished in satin or gloss?
