I play in a worship band a couple times a month,  acoustic and sometimes electric.  Our services are recorded. Here is an instrumental I played during communion
last Sunday on my JCL 40th Anniversary Edition.  The song is "How Deep The Father's Love For Us."

I wish I could play fingerstyle like that.  The guitar sounds great.  So how do you learn?  Play by ear, tabs, written guitar music, taught by others?

Still shooting for stardom after all this time.

Still loving it!  Play it every day. Most days for at least 2 hours.

The 40th sounds heavenly.

Well, I pretty much just taught myself.  Started playing when I was 15 in 1970.  I was blessed with a good ear for music, and would listen to Peter, Paul, Mary,
Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles, James Taylor, John Denver etc.  Figured out Travis picking on Puff the Magic Dragon, and just went on from there.   I don't have the patience to read tabs,  and although I can read music from playing trumpet, I never really tried following guitar music.  Maybe when I retire and have more time....

The JCL really is a great guitar.  It has an Imix pickup installed at the Larrivee factory when I pick it up from Jean.  I play it through a Baggs Para DI then into
the church PA.  It actually sounds a little more natural in the auditorium .  The recording is made straight from the mixer board so it has a little electronic quack.
I bet your L07 sounds pretty close to mine.
Thanks for the comments.

You sound like me.  Playing since age 13.  Self-taught.  Never graduated to learning how to play fingerstyle though, because I never had the patience to practice.  Interestingly, I also learned to read music from playing trumpet but can't play guitar from written music.  I use tab occasionally, but only if I have to learn something for a performance of some kind.
