I think you should include a pic of the tone bar bracing. This is a very good looking OO. But after owning four OO's myself, I have to admit the new bracing brought these lil' guys into the big leagues.

(Please folks, don't take that the wrong way, the Forum IV is fine as is,to me. But this bracing removes "boxiness", from any tone description.)

That last comment really speaks volumes. That boxiness is my fear in pulling the trigger on a 00. You're now officially stoking GAS!

I do.  Mine has the pyramid bridge along with the other Pearl Edition options.  Best Larrivee OO I have ever owned.  I have had 4 or 5 over the years.

Nice guitar.  I love those tuning machines.  What make/model are they?

For you Danny....

This shot was originally rather dark and was edited somewhat (contrast added) to see more detail of the bracing

Nice guitar.  I love those tuning machines.  What make/model are they?

Those are stock originals which can be purchased from the Larrivee website.
I believe those are modeled after Grovers which were apparently used on earlier 40-series guitars.
They are smooth and accurate - I love them!

Thank you Bowie - indeed.
The custom features sold me on this baby - especially the Torch inlay.
I reckon it is one of the better looking ones around

Larrivee has the best looking Pyramid bridge around. That is the only other feature I would have loved for mine....

Which OO models have you had?

I have had the following:

OO-03 Sitka/Mahogany
OO-09 Sitka/Koa LA Guitar Sales Custom Short Scale
OO-09 Italian Spruce/EIR Wildwood Custom
OO-03 Sitka/Mahogany (repeat of 1st)
OO-03 All Mahogany

All of these have moved on except my Pearl Edition.

My least liked was the Koa.

it was probably the short scale and not the Koa.
You sure have had a lot.
