Another new wood accented 03 deluxe model. This time in Koa!Looks really nice. I really wanted one of the original L-03 Deluxe models, but these look so much nicer.

Seems odd that a mahogany/spruce guitar is being named "koa" after the bits of inlay and binding but, I agree that they do look very nice.  Love the fretboard and bridge inlays.

Koa Spice .... spices are added accents.  I saw one today at the shop.  They are really nice.

The inlays, except for the headstock and rosette, appear to be very similar to the ones they made on the Special Edition 03's a few years back, but the inlays were not koa they were some goldish/bronze looking fiber.

The "03-Deluxe" was inlaid with Mahogany. And yes the headstock was the simple boarder, also in hog. The inlays are the deluxe inlays that are usually mother of pearl.
