These are all the rage on another internet guitar forum...
Pre-War guitars are made to "pre-war" specs and have various amounts of "wear" you can choose from (Levels 1-4 of wear are available).
The tone on various YT demo videos is impressive, and, as I said, those who have ordered them are very favorable in their reviews.
Another plus: They cost a lot less than a new Martin Authentic (or Gibson Historic) that they compete with... a hog dread is $4995 and a Herringbone dread with BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD b/s is $7995. Sure, that's still a LOT of money, but I doubt you could order a Brazilian from anyone else (including Larrivee) for that price.
Anyone here played one, or own(ed) one?
