I have a 2007 L-05 on the way and wondering if it’s s. American or khaya mahogany? Looks like the typical orangish/honey color of Honduran but I’m not 100%.

Send Larrivee an e-mail (from their website) and give them your serial number - they should be able to tell you which mahogany it's built with.

I believe it was after 2010 or somewhere thereabouts. One of the Larrivee bros said it here on the forum before so you might be able to search it.

I messaged them. They are fairly confident it’s Honduran.

The wood looks just like my old 000-50.    I'm pretty pretty sure it's Honduran mahogany
