Was on the hunt for a solid wood 12 string and was pretty set on just ordering a Larrivee LV-03 R 12.  I wanted a cutaway, but for the actual songs I will use it for, it really isn't required.

I found this beauty at Dave's Woodstock Music today. for a price I could not refuse.

Eastman E6D-12.

    Top: Solid Sitka Spruce
    Back: Solid Mahogany
    Sides: Solid Mahogany
    Finish: Nitrocellulose
    Rosette: Classic Styling
    Neck: Mahogany
Handfit Dovetail neckjoint with diamond headstock volute
    Nut Width: 1 ⅞
    Freftboard: Ebony
    Bridge: Ebony
    Fretboard Inlay: Pearl Dots
    Binding: Multi-ply
    Tuning Machines: Sealed Mini Tuners
    Nut: Bone
    Saddle: Bone
    Case: Hard Case

It sounds amazing. So full and rich. I had previously tried a Taylor 150E and lower end Martin as well as a vintage Gibson from 1966 and a Vintage Guild. None of them even came close to the tone and comfort of playing of this Eastman. The fit and finish are very very good. It really sings!

The action is perfect and Dave told me, it came from the factory like that.

So, I have another brand of acoustic guitar now.   whistling

Congratulations. I hope you are delighted and extremely happy with your non-Larrivee guitar. mad mad mad... crying... kidding, of course.

A lot of us have a few other logos on the headstock of our other guitars.

Finding a 12 string you like is not all that easy in my experience.

                 Enjoy it.

I kick myself for selling a Takamine rosewood 12 string prior to my discovery of Larrivee guitars.   Now I can't even remember what I bought with the money
