You know those are made across the street from Larrivee

Those aren't Guilds in my book. They are a boutique version an unaffordable by most, the Chinees stuf though desent are not Guilds either.I did find the GAD-JF30 to be the best sounding Gibson J200 I've played and heard.

Godin, made in Quebec Canada.
"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

The OM-21 started being made in 92. I had a 93 OM-21 that had better components and features than the newer models. It was really dumb for me to let that one go.

Rob,

Some interesting video interviews with Ren Ferguson, who has worked for Gibson, and then went to work with Fender to help rebuild the Guild brand (first back in Connecticut, then in California at the Cordoba factory.

The second link has more to do with Guild, but the first link is the beginning and is pretty interesting about him getting hired on and working at Gibson/Montana:

If that second long link doesn't work, there's a link at the end of the first video to get you to the second one. Both are very interesting.

I have only Larrivee acoustics now but as far as electrics go..  well, it has to be this one

Tuffy LOVE the striped finish.. :wave

Mike I had the chance to talk to him once about having my Guild JF30/12 repaired and he was rather rude...plus when he came out with the line of guitars that he said if Guild was around in the 30's this it what they would have been...They where worlds about as Guild had hired mostly ex Epiphone workers not Gibson workers.

My1990 Goodall Rosewood Standard.  It is like my JCL 40th Anniversary Edition on steroids.  They are quite similar in looks and tone.
