.....the fact that they designed the L body which blends the best features of a classical with a steel string body.
P.S. For the record, both my Larrivee parlor and my L shaped 03 series guitars have wood maple binding on the body but they each have plastic maple grained binding on the necks. Based on my 45+ years of playing, the plastic binding has protected the wood on both the neck and the bodies of my guitars bound with plastic.

"Senior" member means "old" right? Like over 50?
Too many guitars to list here. Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

...what? Now you complete the sentence. I'll start: I love the fact that Larrivee still makes one piece mahogany necks - and their headstocks don't have "wings" on them! (I acknowledge that there are plenty of high-end and custom guitars that have multiple piece necks, like Olson, Lowden, etc.) Still produces guitars with craftsmanship. Not the mass produced affordable crap that is taking over every aspect of our lives Oh and also that the company gives off a wonderful "family" vibe that you just don't get from the big manufacturers

Considering the Larrivee family participates in the forum and allows us their name... And some of our esteemed members are friends with the Larrivee family.... Nothing much better than that! Mike

.....takes pride in how their guitars impact musician's (and aspiring musician's) over squeezing as much money out of the market as they can.
My Larrivee puts a smile on my face every time I pick it up. I recently brought a friend looking for "the one guitar" to a couple local music shops and went through the Martin / Taylor / Gibson offerings. All good guitars but I purposely didn't put a Larriviee in his hand until he tried all the others. Within seconds he knew he found what he was looking for and is now a new Larrivee owner and smiles every time he picks his Larrivee up just like I do. I am not saying that the others are not excellent brands but there is just something special about Larrivee that sets their guitars apart.

I'll second that! I started on classical, and there is something much more comfortable about the body shape, the flattened compound radius, the ebony fretboard,..... It's honestly a stroke of genius.
