I love the fact that Larrivee...

I'll start:

I love the fact that Larrivee still makes one piece mahogany necks - and their headstocks don't have "wings" on them!

(I acknowledge that there are plenty of high-end and custom guitars that have multiple piece necks, like Olson, Lowden, etc.)

Is a multi-generational family business that is more concerned about quality of their instruments than in producing MASS quantities of instruments. They still value the fact that their name is on the headstock. Priceless.

:+1:  Except, now, all they can do is stare at my headstock, transfixed as if in a trance at the shear beauty of it. Then the sound of Jean's Private Reserve, Alpine Moon Spruce and East Indian Rosewood, hits their ears. As it enters their brain, it turns their preconceived notions and brainwashed neurons, to mush.
