Just got my first Larrivee. It's a D-3. Love it. The clarity and sustain "ring" is what I have been looking for. Only matched by high end Taylor for play ability. This guitar has opened up new doors for my playing. Looking forward to talking with you guys and enjoying my guitar.

You choose a really nice guitar.

Post a photo when you get time. Did you get the acoustic-electric with the Stagepro Element? Or a straight Acoustic?

Welcome to the Larrivee sound. :)

Couldn't have said it better. I have yet to find a Larrivee that isn't excellent. Larrivees are simply splendid guitars.

Nice.

Looks like a D-03R - "R" for rosewood back 'n' sides... is that the case?

Yes, It is Rosewood.  :thumbsup
Skeetz

Congrats!  My first Larry was a D-03 in mahogany, but my favorite Larry is a D-03R.

Very balanced, but with a touch of lower midrange growl...

Welcome aboard.  Looking forward to pictures of all of your future Larrivee ......  :humour:
