Stopped to visit a distant cousin and her husband today, and was offered the opportunity to play his Martin John Sebastian Limited Edition, number 40 something of 44. Gorgeous guitar with some nice fret board detail and a nice sunburst top, figured Koa back and sides. Heck, I didn't even know either one of them played! Turns out he can't bend his fingers anymore so he has it listed for sale. I didn't ask the price, but new they went for around $6K.
So I tuned it up and played it for maybe ten minutes and it sounded pretty nice. But in all honesty...I like either one of my Larrivee better. Just MHO
