Saw this at elderly rated "VGC+ except needs much work" .  Apparently that means that each of the three individual pieces the guitar is in is in great shape?  http://www.elderly.com/vintage/items/20U-8865.htm

I found that VGC at Elderly usually means "basket case" any where else.  I like Elderly, but use caution with VGC.

Actually VGC *should* mean showing normal signs of playing wear, perhaps a couple of replaced parts, refret, repaired crack, etc.  It should *not* mean basket case or beat to crap.  I know most people in online forums have had good experiences with Elderly, but both of mine were decidedly bad and both included careful telephone descriptions that turned out to be less than honest.  I won't deal with them again.
