It looks like I will be near Bohemia, NY for quite a bunch of time this summer.  Would be interested in meeting up, but I won't be entrusting any airline with any of my axes; well maybe my inexpensive classical.

You could ship yourself one of your guitars, then ship it home at the end of your stay. Much safer than the airlines.

I think I'll haunt some of the local shops.  Problem with that, is when I do that, I end up adding another lifetime shopping list item.  Latest addition to my wish list is the Taylor 8 string baritone.
