Nicely done, as always!  I never get tired of listening to your D-10 Braz  P. S.  I really like your new soundcloud cover photo...

Really enjoyed this one and, April Come She Will.

I would love to learn the arrangements. Do you have a link to the scores?

Thanks guys.  :nana_guitar

Mark, I don't have tabs or a score.  I just figure stuff out by ear.
The picking pattern is probably the most important part of the song.  The picking pattern used through most of the song is (string # ) 5-1-3-4-2-3.
Tp play it like Paul Simon (which I did), capo 7 frets.  The verses start with a Am7 chord shape played up 2 frets, then to an A2.  That is the main part
of the song, keeping the 5-1-3-4-2-3 picking pattern going.  The intro is a little different, starting with the Am7 up 2 frets using the 5-1-3-4-2-3 pattern for one bar,
then using a C shape up 2 frets with same picking pattern for one bar.  Then you walk down the A string frets 3-2-0, back to the Am7 two frets up, to A2.

That probably sounds a little complicated, but you can hear it in my intro.  Since I can't sing as high as Art Garfunkel, I picked out the lead melody in a second track.
IWish I had a  Zoom recorder.  Maybe I can do a cell phone video.  Just work on that picking
pattern as it takes a little practice to get it down with the quick chord changes.

Let me know if I can be of any help.  happy pickin' !

:+1:  Score?  We don't need no stinkin' score.

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

Hey thanks 247hoopsfan. I am even more impressed that you guys can figure this stuff out completely by ear.

I can do a certain amount of that, but I really like having the music.

I will try to play it with your instructions and see how far I get.

Mark,

I did a quick recording of the song last night.  It is just a cell phone video, but I think you can see the fingering and picking pattern.  I capo
up 7 frets.  The main picking pattern is 5-1-3-4-2-3.
I hope this helps you figure it out.  Let me know how it goes.

    Danny likes it :+1:

Paul Simon is a fine picker and writer. And I suppose Art harmonizes okay :rolleye:
