I own a RS-4C just wondering how many RS-3c or Cm are out there???

I'm not familiar with older Larrivee electrics, but would like to learn more about them.  Can you post some pics?

Welcome to the forum.

If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

Might wait for (and hope) a couple other folks chime in. Canyon Mike is one who seems to know a lot about older Larrivee electrics. Also, maybe Ducktrapper, and Andrew (Joycefrom NS), etc.

And Headsup! He's likely to have or have had one.

pics are worth thousands of words (so some-one once said).
"Senior" member means "old" right?
Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...

I give 50% odds the OP never responds again.  Just a gut feeling.  Hope I'm wrong.

Not sure what's in your gut but the OP was last logged on last night. So I'll take them odds.

Regardless!

Here's mine from 1983   :blush:

That's lovely, Andrew!

What's the 335 style sitting next to it? Looks like an '80's style tailpiece (from a Lucille model).

That would be a 1978 Gibson ES 347 I gifted to my brother a number of years ago that I sadly inherited last year

I stand corrected, although he hasn't actually posted yet.  Was hoping he would provide some pictures in an additional post or two.

I don't think he has a Pic of an RS-3 to post.

Just to add some clarity to those who are somewhat unfamiliar with the "80's" Larrivee Electrics:

RS =  "Strat" style neck through
LS =  "Strat" style bolt on
RT = "Tele" style neck through
LT = "Tele" style bolt on
RB = "Bass" with neck through
LB = "Bass" with bolt on

The "R" denotes neck through, while the "L" denotes bolt on.   The "S" is a "Strat" style, "T" is a "Tele" and "B" is a 'Bass".

Pickup configurations for the guitars are denoted as follows;

1 - single humbucker
2 - double humbuckers
3 - three single coils
4 - two single coils plus a humbucker

C = Carve top
M = Maple cap

I have a few as well, LT's, LS', but my fave is this one, for historical reasons,
and also for the carved Maple cap. (CM

The only RS-3 on the web is Janne Schaffer's  and it a flat body not a C or CM.
