I'm not a fan of the Larrivee P90s.

My guess is that if you aren't a P-90 fan then it wouldn't matter much who makes the pickup.  You just don't like it.  Why by the way?

Can you describe what characteristics of a typical P-90 you don't like?

Sorry, I got my threads mixed up. I stared an rs4 thread elsewhere. Not a fan of p90s, but I tried them when I got an Rs2. They sounded too papery and thin for my taste. They're not bad, but I like the humbuckers on my older rs2 and my epiphone scrolls. Personal preference. Every p90 or single coil guitar I've had, I've sold.
