I'm sitting here playing my L-03 feeling like a little kid on Christmas Eve...  :guitar

And, she's home!

The projection of this guitar is out of this world!

Rich bass tones, singing trebles, perfectly balanced.

Wow. I am going to be doing very little else for the next few days.

Here is Bill Hatfield of Hatfield Guitar and Repair giving it a good shakedown. He left it unopened until I arrived. He normally does not do that as he likes to inspect everything before hand. I was the first person outside the Larrivee company to gaze upon it.

I let Bill hang it up in the store for a photo op. ;)

A wall of new Larrivee Guitars!

At home with the 1977 L-35 Classical. Exactly 40 years between them.

I'll get a full family shot along with the L-03 later. Unfortunately, I do have to do some work today.

Congratulations Mark!  Beautiful addition to the family.  Gives me GAS...

Very nice! Congrats on a very special guitar! Love the pic of the headstock - you can also see how expertly the nut is cut (the strings are sitting in shallow slots, not down in a deep valley).

Hanging next to the others in the store, it almost looks like an LS body size...

:nice guitar:

Congrats Mark!! Glad she's finally home!  Too bad about that flaw in the wood but I'm sure you'll forget all about it after a while (just kidding!  :bgrin: she looks flawless!!)

Unbelievable how white the top is.

I thought that was a characteristic of European Spruce?  My MW & Alpine are all really white...  The reflection of light is almost blinding...

^He's correct.  Euro spruce starts out pretty white.  More so than Sitka at least.  Adi can start out pretty white too but maybe not as white as Euro varieties, just based on my experience.

Mark,
An outstandingly glorious guitar. Beautiful.
Let us know how it plays.
The reason I ask this is cause it seems the string width, both at nut and up the neck, seem as wee bit wide to my humble bad eyes.
