How much is my guitar worth?

Hello,

I own a Larrivee OM-10 made out maple wood. It was manufactured in April 1992. The model # is 12302. It is in good condition with only a few small scratches. I recently had the bridge reattached and one nut replaced. It has ebony detailing. I contacted Larrivee Guitars directly and they said a new guitar like mine today would have an MSRP of $4500. I don't know what I should list mine for. Anyone have any ideas?

The 10 series can vary in how ornate they are. I've seen them eBay for around $1,400 to $1,600 on average but sometimes much more, sometimes a bit less. The last OM10 that sold on eBay was less ornate, in great condition, and went for $1,500.

They are really under-valued, IMO. I recommend hanging onto it because you'll be hard pressed to get anything that good for 1500.  I sold a really high end Larrivee for around that much last year and I feel foolish for doing so. I only did it because I don't like owning too many instruments.

It would be good to see pic's.  I sold a newer OM-10e for 1800.

Yes, pics would help.  I'm confused about what is meant by ebony detailing and having one nut replaced.  A guitar only has one nut.  Did you mean tuning machine or?

A D-10 was recently sold on this forum for $1500.00, I believe.

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

So I am new to this guitar stuff. The head plate, fingerboard, and bridge are made of ebony. I will try to get pictures up later today. Thanks

Don't forget the donuts!

With most guitars you get what you pay for. With a Larrivee you get more than you expected. I would only sell a Larrivee to get a better Larrivee. I am holding on to a fancy custom L-05 for my grandson's 14th birthday. Three years to go. Cheeky little sod has his eye on my OM-19.
