Do early model L05 have truss rods and will a truss rod tool from a later Larrivee fit?

Yes they do and the newer truss rod tool is a different one.You need the one shaped more like a "J" then the one that is "L" shaped.

Thanks for the advice. My favourite luthier did not have a Larrivee truss rod tool. I found a shop selling the truss rod tool online but the postage cost was a killer. Larrivee had the tool on a special in their shop and said free postage. Apparently it is on its way from California to Melbourne, Australia now. For once the free postage applied to international customers. Thank you Larrivee.
