Hello,

I' ve bought a lefthanded larrivée rs 4, serialnumber 100112, tobaccosunburst.
Can anyone tell me how old this guitar is? Jason lollar pickups or ml pickups?
Thank you for a reply.

What a Beauty!  I have a right handed one with P90's and the TSB top.  I love the RS models.  Email larrivee customer service the serial number with guitar in the subject line.  They can tell you when it was built, they all have a birth date...

That is about the lowest RS serial # I can recall. My GUESS would be June or July 2008. I bet one of the first Lefty RS-4's ever made! It would have the Lollar PUP's unless they got switched out by a previous owner.

 nice guitar

Thank you for the replys. I will contact the customerservice.
I'm very happy with the guitar, she's really in mint condition, shaller straplocks and larrivée picks are included in the original case.
I was looking for a quality guitar, due to lack on experience, by reviews on the net. I can't compare with other electric guitars, i've played till now an acoustic fender cd100, but i believe i've made the right choice by choosin a larrivee guitar.
I will post what the customerservice can tell me about my guitar.

Keep on playin' her, I predict she won't be your last Larrivee, you just can't have only one...

You have ended up with pretty much one of the best electric guitars ever made, so play it often for best results.

So far, I didn't received an answer from Larrivée about the 'birthday' of my guitar. Could it be possible I did something wrong? I went to the Larrivée site and fill in the contactsheet. Maybe it's just a normal thing, they have probably more things to do than answer all the questions.

Thought I heard they were going to have an accessible database. How difficult could it be to do in stages .... say stage 1; year 2001 to present serial #'s     I'm sure having only that group of #'s  would cut down on requests such as this one,   I'm betting would be where the majority come.

I received an answer from the larrivée customerservice, the birthday from my rs 4 #100112 was 30/01/2008. I'm very pleased with the response from the larrivée people

Welcome to the forum Davy.  You got yourself an awesome guitar there.  I hope you will hang around.  It would be of interest to many members if you posted your impressions of your particular RS-4.
