Morning wood?  Hmmmm...and it looks like it came from a crotch.  I guess the proper term would be crotch wood.

It is the same guitar I nominated for the June GOTM.  It has the same EIR for back, sides and headstock with Austrian spruce top.
It is a real joy to play.  Waverly tuners with snakewood buttons.

cop  OK, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's mind didn't go south on that title. . .

I also get confused on: "Please help me date my guitar. . ."

cop  OK, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's mind didn't go south on that title. . .

So who went south on this?  I'm a woodworker who's always on the lookout for a nice piece of crotch wood.  Actually when I first met my wife she was pining for a lingerie chest made from hardwood.  So off I went to the workshop.  After building the carcass I needed to finish the drawers.  For the drawer fronts I needed some veneer. Luckily I recently came across a beautiful Y crotch from a downed tree to finish the job.  Needless to say my wife was very pleased with the results. That was thirty-seven years ago. The chest is long gone but I still have the girl. Oh and that wind-blown tree with the crotch wood was cherry.
