fitness1's Darlingside post reminded me of this site - which has live vidoes of many different artists, many different styles (mostly acoustic)

Here On Out - multi-artist site link

for example, a great acoustic bass and guitar duo:

another interesting music site:

Mostly it's Noisetrade.com for me.  I look for compelling album art and it is usually accompanied by music that is also intriguing.

But also I participate in February Album Writing Month and have many favorites from my years there.

Some of my favorites:
Old Lost John - incredible story teller:  https://soundcloud.com/old-lost-john
Gerrybhoy: https://soundcloud.com/gerrybhoy
Expendable Friend: https://soundcloud.com/expendablefriend
Wuola/Kumea - magical hand percussion featuring the hang-drum; surprisingly melodic - think of steel drums but with much more pure tone:  http://kumea.bandcamp.com/

Music streaming sites like Pandora introduce me to a lot of new (to me) artists.
