The Jefferson Airplane was my favorite and the best West Coast band from that era. Didn't like Starship but that's a different matter. RIP.

I was fortunate enough to see them live with the San Francisco Head Lights light show in 1968. Terrific live band.

Paul passes away the day before Marty's birthday ...
