This is listed as a "Jackson/Larrivee" - and say Schon on the headstock...

...so which is it, a Larrivee version or a Jackson version?

And who has a pocketful of cash to buy it?

Schon Signature model

I don't have enough knowledge of Larrivee electrics from the past to give an opinion on whether or not it was truly made by Larrivee.  Even if it was, I would not be tempted to buy it at any price.  Can't see the significance or value in it unless there is some collector value I'm not aware of.  I'm guessing it plays and sounds great, but then so do the too many electric guitars I already have.

It is a very rare left handed Larrivee Schon.  It was made in 1988.  Less than 500 Larrivee Schon guitars were made.  I believe Larrivee made only 2 to 3 lefties.  The Larrivee Schons were made in 3 body styles.  The blue Schon is indeed a beautiful guitar however it is missing its bridge.

Yes, I noticed that, and wondered if it was just off the guitar because there are no strings on it (and being that old, it's not a locking pros bridge), and he doesn't want to take a chance of it damaging something. But he doesn't mention whether he has it.

You'd have to be a pretty big fan to pay that price for it - even as a very rare/almost one-off lefty.

For collectors,  the  Larrivee Schon would probably command the highest $ of all Larrivee electrics

Jackson Schon's ( only 200 made )are worth more. I own 2 Jackson made Schons and 2 Larrivee Custom Reverse Schon's. Jackson have 24 frets Larrivee 22 frets . Jackson have their pickups and a a preamp with 3 or 4 mini switches for EQ, Larrivee came with Schon pickups made by PJ Marx.

I'd buy a used RS-4 instead and use the money I saved for wine, women and song.

I'm assuming you made a typo and meant wine, WOMAN (incl. dogs) and song.

Assume nothing.  ohmy

The dogs have their own needs. Our little Arrow is having a litter in early January. Seems she was just a baby herself. May the dog breeding program start paying off! Anyone looking for an adorable long coated chihuahua?

Was trying to make a distinction between wine, women (plural) and song VS wine, woman (singular) and song, thinking the latter applied to you more than the former.  Not meant as a correction, but as a congratulation in my awkward way of putting things.
