Jeeze am tempted as don't have an Amber. This is one of the original runs built in Aug-Sept 2008. Only thing that concerns me is what was repaired? As not clear from write-up or I missed it from my excitement. If this was in NS I don't think I could resist

In one photo it looks like there may be a ding right on the edge of the back near the neck strap button...

So, it's a small world after all.  I'm just about positive that the current seller (or previous owner) is one of our forum members, and I have played that guitar on a couple of occasions.  This thread, from a few years ago, tells the whole story.  http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=38907.msg352344#msg352344

Also, check this thread out.  http://www.larriveeforum.com/smf/index.php?topic=42577.msg383658#msg383658  That ad was also for the same guitar, posted a couple of years later.  If it is indeed the same guitar and still owned by the forum member, maybe he can let us know for sure.  One thing I can tell you is that it looks, plays, and sounds terrific.  I don't remember any dings on it, but there may have been.  It's been almost 4 years since I played it.

If any of you are seriously considering making an offer for it, and you want me to check it out for you, I will gladly do it.  PM me in that case and I will do what I can to help you out.

EDIT:  I compared photos from the current ad and the old Larrivee forum thread and this is definitely the same RS-4 that I played in the past.  It was that guitar that made me decide to get in on the Forum V's.

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

Like over 50?

Too many guitars to list here.
Too few brain cells to be bothered with...
