one of the signature tunes of our stage show,
 "Head Over Heels"
my gal pal/wife always brings the house down with it.

and THANKS to THIS thread, last night, (the fourth) I set the song up by asking a very attentive audience,
 "hey what's the date today?"

and of course they replied by saying June 4,
to which I said, "right and yesterday was.....

started the funky acoustic  D7 intro, Miss V was right on Q, singing that famous of famous first lines.....

It's actually one of our (hers) signature performances,
of course sometimes I might set it up as a sing along......

(nary a repeated line through out the epic story)

Classic photo of Bobbie too.  These old songs bring back a lot of fond memories of those much simpler times that many thought were not so simple.  Looking back....

All I know is she's simply GORGEOUS in that photo... (there, I said it!)

You have to remember that this was 1967, during the peak of the women's revolution, when plain seemed to turn to beautiful overnight.  Clothes, attitudes, sexuality, freedoms, and just about anything connected to it changed very radically and very quickly...  I graduated high school that year...  amazed at the sudden beauty of girls we never noticed before...   bigrin  rock 'n roll
