If Larrivée wouldn’t mind copying Bob, an 8 string baritone would be most excellent. Venetian cutaway. They pick the woods. L body style. Forearm bevel. Old school clear pickguard.

Not in the financial cards this year.  Have a high school senior taking a trip to Europe after graduation, then off to college...  wacko

If business takes a nice upswing, perhaps, but it would have to be a pretty nice upswing.

I might be able to swing it next year but then we are already into the 51st year.

Just got my dream Larrivee a couple of months ago.  It's a 12 fret LV-03, sitka/mahogany, with 40 series bracing, old style marquetry rosette and gold Schallers.

I would love one entirely made by the master himself, Jean Larrivee.  From the selection of the woods to the final touches.  I wonder when Jean last made one from beginning to end?

We'll, you could try ordering an LSV short scale with koa back & sides... (the original LSV was 24.75" scale).

I doubt that Jean has built a guitar "solo" since the early years. Now he's going in so many different directions I'd think he'd never get it done. And I don't know that you'd get any nicer guitar than one of the current 10 series or higher models.

Since we are being allowed to dream.

OM-19  Black Walnut/Cedar

Being a -19 it would of course have one of Wendy's gorgeous inlays.   Wood bindings, but not maple, maybe koa, with matching heelcap and fretboard binding.

Since this thread is fairly old, although seeing new life, I am going to change my answer to:

OM-19 Black Walnut/Cedar with series -40 bracing.

Oh, and no pickguard.

Can't imagine a nicer guitar than my C-10. 21 years old and sounds like a million bucks.

Mine would be pretty plain, like the one I have, with the same classical-style rosette, but some dots on the fretboard. Maybe old Brazilian instead of Indian rosewood.

12 fret, short scale L with a custom one of headstock inlay. Sitka top, silver oak or walnut body.

Back in the 1900's I had the most wonderful L model with the eagle and serpent headstock inlay, and really beautiful fretboard inlays. After pining for another for the last few decades, I wanted to order one. Then out of the sky....a MINT (and I mean literally vaulted!) 1982 Victoria one appeared for sale 4 blocks from my home!!!! I ran to call, ran to the bank ( bigtime overdraft...but WT#), and I GOT IT. As I write it is waiting on my lap to fill the room with more gorgeous sounds.
An L-19 that I will never let out of my sight....ever....ever. Its going with me. Period.
