David Wren, an original Jean Larrivee apprentice, long time co-owner of the Twelfth Fret in Toronto and an awesome guitar builder posted this article, which, I thought others might be interested in.

"Interesting" to say the least. That was a good read - thanks!

It's amazing how often the person who comes up with a new idea isn't the one who makes it into a commercial success.

Same was true for a little hamburger stand out in California somewhere... it was called McDonald's. Then a salesman named Ray Kroc got ahold of it...

Thanks for an interesting read. The App guitar is also very reminiscent of Rick Turner's or vice versa.

Well, since the App was built about 30-40 years before Turners, it can't be reminiscent of them...

Interesting article.

A great example of thinking outside the box.

Thanks!

I did say or vice versa which is obviously what I meant. I was being a little facetious. I won't say why.

What a great read, to bad it turned out the way it did for him, seems Gibson has some explaining to do...
