The guitar player in Fred Eaglesmith's band plays one. Very nice and a long way from the plastic originals.

I really shouldn't because it's going to stoke the baritone fire in my belly again, even though it's not a Bari, it is a proper bass 6.

The mandocaster looks and sounds cool, but I would probably tire of the high pitched sound in short order.  ymmv.
