I'm trying to identify my Larrivee I got as a teenager over a decade ago, but having no luck hearing back via email.

The only ID number I have is 47232

The full set of images are all here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fb37rlhm7js1fqp/5PY3V0igIO

Any help regarding model number, materials, year, etc is appreciated, thanks!

Looks like it might be a mahogany b/s L-02?  Have you tried sending your serial number to Larrivee for clarification?
 nice guitar, btw.

Thanks for the quick reply, cbarclay! The clear pickguard seems diff from the norm for that model but it seems close! I indeed have but have not heard back yet and wasn't sure if they still had someone who addressed such inquiries.

Late 1990's early 2000's.

It's either an L-03 or L-02.  I'd need a closeup of the body binding.   I think it's an -03 because I'm reasonably sure the -02's of that era had black neck binding not white.

This is what -03 binding looks like:

White neck binding, black body binding, and BWB purfling.

Also, if yours is indeed over 10 years old, Larrivee wasn't using the tortoise style pickguards consistently across the line yet (especially on the L models). So your clear guard seems like a normal spec.

Yes, easily over ten years ago bought in Toronto. Thanks so much everyone.

I've uploaded three more photos to that dropbox folder, AZLiberty. It looks like it's white binding which would make it a -03. I haven't heard back from Larrivee regarding my model number so I'll probably have to retry.

I don't see the purfling stripes, so maybe -02.  They changed the configuration a few times over the years.

Thanks for your help. I'll just have to wait to hear back for sure. I'm guessing If I ever decide to sell I can get $650-800 for it.

Cheers!
