Clarence reunited with his brothers, had Herb Pederson join them and did a bluegrass tour in Europe in the spring of 73, shortly before Clarence was killed by drunk driver in July.
The live in Sweden album is one of the hottest bluegrass records around but it went out of print not long after released and almost impossible to find. (I have album I got in early 80's.)
Looks like Roland White has unearthed another show from that tour. I highly recommend any bluegrass fan to get this, The Live in Sweden was Clarence at his hottest, which is saying a lot! From samples of this new "live in Holland CD it sounds comparable.  Just posting as a huge Clarence White fan.     http://www.rolandwhite.com/liveinholland.htm

Thanks Matt. Man his fingers could fly!

But when you see videos of him it looks effortless.     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-q6GBC6O62A

Naw, He died when I was 15.(run over by a drunk lady while loading after show)  I was seeing shows by then and was a big Byrds fan but they never came near Eastern KY. Saw his protégé Tony Rice  many times. He came into his own playing with J.D. Crowe who was/is from Lexington area. Ricky Skaggs played in that Band as well, along with Jerry Douglas and Bobby Hicks. A classic Bluegrass band for the ages.
