Yikes, that's scary good playing.  She must have got tired of playing the piece the old fashion way on her classical guitar.

Wow.  She is way, way better than me.

You just gotta practise more is all.   whistling

Good grief! That is so humiliating. I cannot even do that picking style for two...one full second, let alone an entire song of of it. I may as well quit now. Guitars for sale!

You gotta put this in perspective, broKen.

She has obviously been classically trained, and has practised her **s off on this piece.  That doesn't mean your pathetic first-position strumming of a 3-chord song doesn't have relevance or doesn't give a lot of pleasure to yourself or others that you play for.  Your interpretation of any given song or classical piece is just as valid as hers.

She's 14 and I doubt too many of us could play that well. I have some chops but she can play circles around me. Good on her. What I like is how easy she makes it look. That's the ten thousand hour rule in action.

Hear, Hear!

love to hear her sing a Tom Waits tune!! (for example)

regardless, she's a talented girl. But if it's art, and not a contest, then there is room for all.

And art without talent is like...well, I make mighty fine mud pies!

Sorry fellas, just having fun.

Duck, I heard Steve what's-his-name, the world class flatpicker say to play like him may require 25,000 hours of practice. I'll have to settle for mud pies.
