Went to store to check out an amp. Grabbed Tele off wall to use.
Went home with Tele.
Deluxe Nashville Tele, ash body, with a Strat pickup in the middle. Very sweet!

I love that pickup configuration on a Tele, because I'm not a big fan of the middle position on a regular Tele unless there's a full humbucker in the neck position; to me the middle tone is just to "hollow" sounding, for lack of a better description. I've got a couple Tele's I'd like to have set up that way.

My main partscaster has an EMG bridge pu in the middle along with a regular set of tele EMG's.

it seems to that it's the same mike configuration that the boss Springsteen uses.
