That one is special.  I love the color, the maple, and the rosewood headstock veneer.

Whoa!! Nice one. And reasonably priced, too; Canadian or USD. I've had an RS4. Would get another if not in the hunt for a Bakersfield. Wonder how the P90s sound in them? The HBs I had were wonderful, if not just a bit "polite" at times. Maybe I should have had P90s!?

They sound great. Trust me.

Became a Shooting Star when I got my 1st guitar.
Back in '66, I was 13 and that was my fix.
Still shooting for stardom after all this time.
If I never make it, I'll still be fine.

It amazes me how cheap these are on the used market.

O MY GOODNESS! That is beautiful!!! Reasonably priced too!  :nice guitar:
Larrivee C-03MT "Island Edition"
Epiphone AJ-500RNS
Epiphone Swingster "Black Royale" Limited Edition

That is a beauty.
Shame they won't ship to Canada.
I have an RS4 already but aching for one with P90's.

After owning and playing an RS4 for many years I can't understand why someone would sell theirs for so under cost.
I just don't get it.

I have one of each- the P90 is a different animal than the humbucker. If I only had one, it would be thge humbucker model, with ML's pups.
About the most defined, rich, and purest sounding guitar I have ever owned, (I'm 60 and have had them all).

it seems the market for guitars is very soft, on the "for sale" forum here, there are amazing guitars (including one of my own) for sale at prices, I feel are ridiculous;y low, from people who never thought they would part with the guitar.
This speaks more of the times than anything else.
sad, indeed......

Agree with this. I've listed my Bakersfield - a beautiful instrument, but I'm needing to downsize and come up with some funds for my daughter's next year of school. But not a single bite. Same with a couple other higher end things I'm trying to sell other places...no interest, and I really don't want to get killed on these pieces of gear.

I hear YA!!!, there's no question- some are taking a beating on their prices
makes one question the  theory of buying new, at retail prices, only to discover your beloved purchase is worth half its value when you've babied it, and it's still in MINT condition.....

Well, I played my Bakersfield again last night through my new Princeton Reverb RI, and decided that, for now, it's staying put!

I recently thought of selling my Bakersfield as well but the same thing happened. Damn, they sound soooooo sweet don't they.

I decided not to sell the Larrivee's.
The RS4 is still the finest guitar I own and the Bakersfield is No2.
I guess an RS4 with P90's will be the next electric.
There's this cutaway classical I've been eyeballin'.
A Rodregez Cutaway D. Do I need another cutaway nylon though?

Ummmmmmm......sure why not.  :laughin:
