Could I choose an acoustic and an Electric :?
Larrivee Electrics - My Dream then and Now!!!!!

Forum IV 00-03MT #4 (Treasured)

I've got some beautiful electrics, but they would all go for the sake of my C-10.......

Too much personally tied up in that guitar emotionally.......
Then again my LCJ-10-12E is oing to have a similar amount of emotion tied into it too when it eventually makes its way over here........

Simply put.......
My other guitars are mere trinkets that I own.......
My Larrivee (Larrivees in six months) is an emotional part of my wife and I, and a keepsake to a lost child.
It's a no brainer really :bgrin:
Larrivee Custom LCJ-10-12E 'Baby Dragon' and vine-of-life inlay
Larrivee Custom C-10E 'Ddraig Bach' ('Baby Dragon')
Gibson Les Paul Historic '59
Legra custom-made Les Paul Doubleneck
1967 Shaftesbury LP Black Beauty copy now with Bareknuckle humbuckers and 1959 spec wiring loom.

It would be a Forum IV of course. They put something special into those guitars. Magical Larrivee sawdust or something....

It would be my '92 OM-05 .... my first and still favorite Larrivee (a C-09 may change that someday...).

On the electric side it would be tough...probably one of my Warmoth Strats with the Rumpel pickups in it...but on a different day it would be my RS-4.

Post script added to original post, do ducktrapper get get a couple humour shots in... :roll

There are some places the mind just won't go but obviously my 1975 Larrivee is my keeper. :laughin:

My SD, simply because it sounds great. It's only real competition at my house is the oo-03r, a fine guitar but the sd simply outdoes it. The Seagulls just can't compete.
Can we assume by the question you are facing some decisions of your own? No need to answer of course.

"The Bride" followed closely by "The Anniversary." Heck, I'd find a way to keep them both.

Nice choices.

My rainsong, and then I would never have to refill a humidifier ever again.

I'd go with my OMV-50 after a long internal battle. I love all of my guitars so it would be a tough decision.

I am assuming that the tuba is off-limits. It would be a very tough call but I would have to go with the OM-50. The 14-frets and larger body make it a more versatile instrument.

And now, as my wife likes to say, I reserve the right to change my mind.

I would probably sell my little collection except the Larry. Yes, I only have one Larry.

However, I'm really falling in love with my Epiphone - such tonal variety in one guitar - so if I had to narrow to two that's what they would be, Larry and Epi.

I am going to say the OMV-03R ss that is still not even finished being built. It's supposed to be my all in one (especially if it ever gets a K&K). If that ends up sucking, then it would have to be my Takamine.
It's hard to say it, but I hardly play electric, so even the electric I made would have to be sold.
Thank goodness this question is hypothetical! :crying:
