Bit of an impulse buyer here...  Still waiting for my Larrivee to get out of the hospital, prognosis good.  In the mean time I ran into a killer deal on a 1999 Simon and Patrick CW Rosewood.  No "plans" for anything new but you never know.

There have been a few guitars in the FS section I'd have bought, if I had the cash at the time ... all of them special / limited editions and used a less common wood ...

IIRC, there have been 2 different spruce top Larrivee parlors offered here, one with Lacewood back and sides, the other with Ebony back and sides.

The Walnut L's also tempt.

...

Other than that, from time to time I look for an old f-hole archtop acoustic on eBay, like a Kay, Silvertone, etc., but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Just something to beat on that's different.

I'm going to look at a 60's Gibson classical today.

Too many guitars... But I keep thinking one more may just do it.
