That is a great cd.  I saw Bebo play about a year ago.  Great songwriter and some really nice guitars too.

what about that song "crystal village"....totally awesome.
and what about "commited".....brilliant.  this cd is destined to be one of my all time favorites!!  on the song, "man in uniform", that's peter buck from rem playing mandonlin.....very cool song as well.  pete is the real deal.  truly a genius of a songwriter imo.  i'm glad you like it.  do you have his first cd, "music for the morining after"?  that one is equally brilliant.

Yes. She has some friends join her--piano & fiddle. It's a more informal album, which works very well (IMHO).

You can listen to it on her website
http://www.maggieb.com/index2.html Roll the cursor over the buttons at the top of the page until you find the one that says "listen"

I especially like the song "Feel it All"

upbeat CCM/modern praise.  pretty much a "rock" sound.  think Big Tent Revival....Newsboys...etc.

I really like their sound. Big Daddy Weave is great pop with a lot of acoustic elements. Check out their website. They are at times upbeat, quirky and some great slower stuff too. I think they have some powerful lyrics as well.

The best and most powerful Christian CD I have heard in ages is Derek Webb's "She Must And Shall Go Free". Derek was formerly with Caedmon's Call. This CD is so powerful, so moving, so strong lyrically and musically. It is a A+++. You won't be the same after listening to it.

I went to the website. Sounds pretty good! I love Big Tent Revival. I might have to check out this CD. Thanks for the recommendation. We also have one of their songs on a worship CD my husband recently got. Just didn't realize it was them. He really likes the song.

i read an interview with Derek about this album.  is it really that good?  honestly, from the interview i got the idea that he really has a passion for this, but it came across as "whining" to me.  he just seemed so upset that it was a turnoff, to me at least.  maybe i just read it wrong or something.  i'm not a big fan of Caedmons Call either, i guess i also have to add that. there is just something about the vocals that i never liked, i think it's the girl that sings some of the songs. i think they have some good songs, but the majority of it seemed like filler to me.  they remind me of FFH, which sounds too polished and studio perfected for my taste. just my .02
