Does anyone know of an exact replacement knob for the Faradyne Tuners?  I'd like to go to a wooden knob , maybe rosewood or snakewood.

No idea, it's hard enough to find buttons for Pings.

Just want to say though, absolutely beautiful ebony on the headstock overlay.

Thanks for the compliment on the headstock overlay. The whole guiatr is a beautiful example  of the Larrivee custom work.

I'm hoping Matthew or someone can tell me who makes the Faradynes for Larrivee , maybe that will be the lead I need.

Believe the Faradyne Tuners  are Asian possibly Chinese. I think these have only been used by Larrivee for less than a year. When I was engaged in the Forum V build I had an opportunity to speak to Matthew on these tuners of which he seemed excited about their high quality. Just hope the standard is maintained unlike many would suggest happened to the Pings.

I have a couple Larrivees built in 1998/1999 which was right after Larrivee switched to Pings.  In all honesty they were never that good (especially the minis).  I shudder to think that they have gotten worse.

For the OP.  Pull a knob and measure the shaft with a set of calipers in both directions.  We can probably find something that will fit.

Thanks to all for the help, esp Joyce and AZLiberty.    I had to wait for a neighbor  to come over with his calipers, but the measurments are as follows... Diameter of the knob post is 60/1000  of an inch , and the length of the knob post is 71/1000 of an inch

JCL speaks very highly of these tuners.

I'd have to agree, they seem like great tuners.  I'm just trying to "class" them up with some  Rosewood knobs.

Bringing this back to the top, specs are in my previous post, any help out there?
