went 2 a jam last nite and took my lv03 pincoda.
great wood (i luv looking at it) and great action but not my fav tone wise. sorta sounds like walnut 2 me.
well... there were 3 d28's there and it kicked all there asses.
i think i figured out why i like larrivee 03's .
being a fingerstyle player i dont want d 28 booming low end or taylor
jangly high end. the L's r very even tone and volume wise from the low e to the high e.
also i dont care if i beat em up, u ding up a collings and u cry big crocodile tears.
so... there is my 2 cents worth. btw, the 00v-03 vintage burst is my current fav.

I've played my D60 against some HD28s and it was better by far.
