Today is the first day that I've noticed that the Bakersfield and Lancaster have different style logos than their RS2 and RS4 counterparts.

I like the RS2/RS4 logo myself. I like the style of the L as well as the lower case e's at the end.

So, which style do you prefer??????

Well I like em both but I guess if you forced me to chose one I would go with the RS lettering style:

Wowzer that's a beautiful headstock! I bet the neck is something to behold.

I prefer the logo on the RS-4/RS-2, which is the 'standard' Larrivee logo used on all the acoustics as well.

But it doesn't keep me from loving my Bakersfield! (The headstock shown below is my Bakersfield...)

Definitely see the respectful "nod" to their neighbors in Fullerton on the Bakersfield and Lancaster, but I too love the Larrivée font, and wouldn't mind if they kept it across the line.

Given that they are differently shaped headstocks, I really think the lettering on each one is fine.  However, there are so many different headstock lettering/inlay variations, one can really get something that pleases them.

Agreed. Were all big boys (and girls) around here.

Damn Joyce, that's a nice headstock. Mine is nothing like that. When I finally order my RS-4 Goldtop with P90's, which will be my 3rd Larri electric, I'm gonna ask for a Larrivee T-shirt at least. :)

As in a single piece of wood? The fretboard is one with the neck?

Correct ... mine is a one piece maple neck, too.

Look closely at the pic behind the nut - you can see the grain lines running all the way down the slope of the headstock. (Click on the pic and it enlarges just a little.)
