I saw a Youtube clip of someone playing a version of The Rose in open G tuning, so I thought I would give it a try.  I have never tried open tunings much, but I kind of like this one.  Most of this is my own improvisation. It is pretty easy to mess around in open G.

Next time I visit my son I want to record this with a mike, because this old camera is pretty lousy at recording.
