Saw the finest performance of Woodie Guthries' stories and songs about America from 1920's to 1940's. 10 acoustic musician, singer, story tellers put on a show of excellence for the packed "Freight and Salvage" in Berkley Ca. Their ablilties astounded us all. J.P.D.   :beer

A week and a half ago (July 18) I saw Arlo Guthrie, Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, and Emmylou Harris at Red Rocks SouthWest of Denver. Arlo, of course, was celebrating his father's 100th birthday and closed his set with "This Land is Your Land". Woodie was an amazing human being! Yes, the seats were VERY far from the stage.
