It's quiet in here .....

So the sun came out today in Ireland  :nanadance and I took a few new photos. Might as well post them. A Heritage trio of solid body single cuts.

From left to right .... An H-150 in vintage burst, an H-157 Black Beauty and an H-137 in old style burst.

Construction is very similar on all three, the 150 and 157 have a one piece mahogany body with two piece maple top. The 137 is a single piece slab of mahogany. Mahogany set necks on all three, the 150 and 137 have rosewood boards and the black 157 has ebony. Inlays are real mother of pearl on them all.

For electronics the burst 150 has a pair of Duncan Pearly Gates with four push / push pots with a Jimmy Page wiring. The black 157 has stock pickups, not sure if they're Schallers or HRWs, probably Schallers. The 137 has a pair of Lindy Fralin noise free P-90s.

Heritage, like Larrivee, make their range in lefty. Which is good !  :thumb

I should add that though I do it badly I have taught myself to play some scale's and chords lefty,I'm a tech and I don't discriminate.I can also again poorly play upside down.I do get dizzy when I do this but the rush is fun. :roll

We lefties understand completely, unclrob; we have to do the same thing everytime we're in a store messin' with those backwards righty guitars!   :roll

You guys are too much!  I remember looking for my first 'nice' small body acoustic in my first real episode of GAS.  I'm fortunate enough to have a great music store near me (Music Emporium, Lexington MA), but at the time I think from an entire wall of eye candy there was one lefty and it was a Seagull Dreadnought.  I had to bring my buddy in to play everything on the wall for me because all I could manage to do was stumble through a few open chords!  Long story short, the path ended with me acquiring my first Larrivee (OMV-10), and now I'll soon have my 3rd.  As my kids show an interest in learning I suppose I should learn to play a little righty so that I can at least play something the nest time I enter a guitar shop!

Word ! I can play a few cowboy chords and basic barre chords upside down on a righty guitar and some string scales, still doesn't give a very good impression of what the guitar is capable of but needs must ....

Thanks. I just put the camera on a tripod and use timed shutter release, no flash. The camera does the rest.  :cheers

Gratuitous shot of the 137
