Would you give up your heritage for a Larrivee? I did. That is I traded my Heritage 535 for a D03R.  :)  Just had to have another sound to add to Mahogany and Blackwood. Been playing a D03R in a local store and just got hooked on it.
Thank you Jason, (guitarcrazy), for working out a really good deal. I should have the new Larry in a couple of days and will post a review ASAP.

Agreed. Heritage does make great instruments at great prices. Thats pretty cool that you have access to the factory being so close. I've had this one for a year and didn't have 30 minutes of playing time on it. I hope Jason enjoys playing it for awhile before he puts it back on the market.

I like the Eagles... because they're all Mahogany.

Mine has some nice factory upgrades.

Would you give up a lasting Harmony for a Larrivee? Sure....how 'bout a $50 1968 Harmony archtop, anyone? Trade?
Don't take no wooden nickles, and don't put beans in your ears.

Hey Jimmyd. What "local store?" Anywhere near Charlottesville??

Thanks Jimmy for the good deal as well.  I have been wanting a Heritage for a while, so it worked out for both of us! :)   Now I just have to remember how to play electric again.....

My guitars:

Larrivee OM-50
Fender Strat
Larrivee OM-03MT

Heritage guitars are fine instruments, but I have trouble thinking of a brand with worse resale value.  If you buy one to keep, great.  If you ever try to sell, get ready to take a loss.  If you can trade a Heritage for a Larrivee I would not hesitate.

As a Canadian, I feel they are my heritage.  B)
