I like this, Peter.  You have that Martin dialed in nicely with your recording equipment.  How much reverb, etc.?  I am still figuring out my Zoom PS04 and what to import in into on my PC (I have tried Audacity, but it's either not very intuitive or I am a troglodyte!).

hiya.........think, "signal chain".......key is the mic....condenser.....that goes into my Zoomh4 as interface and preamp only....then into GarageBand.   I found Audacity to be problematic with native humming , also it finalizes in its own format not easily opened in other programs.   Garageband ticked me off for a few months and then I got over the learning curve.   Gives very clean, accurate, recordings.   Yes, I use a bit of reverb.

Yep, native humming with Audacity.  I will try Garageband, thanks.
